There will be a lot singing and swaying in Cummington Square this summer.
Every Sunday for the months of July and August at 7 p.m. there will be a live band performing at the square.
Everyone is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and have a listen, enjoy a variety of music.
There will be hits from the 1960s to '80s, country and western music, mixed favourites and bluegrass.
Carol Ede, a member of the Village of Chippawa Citizens Committee, said when she was young she used to watch the Chippawa Band every Sunday.
That was in the 50s and 60s, and after the band stopped performing, Ede said she the committee wanted to have more performers to the square.
The Sunday concert series has been going on for the past 13 years, Ede said.
She said they get anywhere between 50 to 200 people from all over the region.
"It's been great."
The concerts are for everyone and Ede said children enjoy the music, too.
"The kids come and they dance on the grass," she said.
The committee aims for a variety of music for all tastes and invite local musicians from the area to perform cover songs.
Cost of the concerts are by donation only and donations will be used for the entertainment. All donations go to the bands.
