MAY 2

  • Do you know anyone who's too young to retire? Or maybe they suddenly need a career change! The Niagara College Business Development Centre is holding a 2-day Entrepreneur Camp that shows participants what it takes to start a small business. The Camp will run from 8:30am to 4:30pm on at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus. The fee for the camp is $499, which includes 2 full days of assessment & workshops, the course materials, light breakfast and lunch on both days, and a 1-hour follow-up mentoring session with one of our Business Advisors.   • The Queenston Ladies Choir will be giving a Spring Concert, 3 pm at St. Mark's Anglican Church. Net proceeds will go to Wellspring, NOTL Palliative Care, Women 4 Women and the Choir's music scholarship fund. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Call 905-468-3053.

  • The Royal Canadian Naval Association Niagara Region will hold it's annual Battle of the Atlantic Parade at Navy Hall at 1 pm. We invite you to attend.

  • The Gallery hosts the first exhibit of the Spring/Summer season, Watercolours of Michael McMahon. Salon and Opening Sunday April 6, 2:00pm. The exhibit will be on display during April.

  • Classes start and last eight weeks, $130 for members. They include: Oils, Watercolour (all levels), Art History, Portraiture, Life Drawing, Acrylics, Pastels, Sculpture.
