Sustainability Network seeks help for green projects

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Sustainability Network has received $500 from Healthy Living Niagara towards a community garden and is turning to residents for help.

The group is looking for individuals who could: donate or lease land, join the network in growing vegetables, fruit and flowers for personal consumption or for farmers' market, selling produce at farmers' market or wish to donate excess produce to the group.

Newark Neighbours, a local food bank, will receive a percentage of the fresh produce.
