Allanburg bridge out of commission indefinitely

The Allanburg bridge will remain out of commission indefinitely.

The span on Highway 20 across the Welland Canal has been out of service since Saturday.

The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation said today a mechanical breakdown forced the closure of the bridge and it will remind off limits entirely until it ix fixed. No further details were immediately available.
