Police investigating invasion

Police are searching for a group of men responsible for a home invasion in Welland on Saturday.

Officers were called to the Britannia Avenue home at about 7:30 p.m. and found that two men entered the home unannounced, armed with "metal objects", confronting the residents. A woman and her daughter, aged 14, fled to a neighbour's home and called police. A man in the home struggled with the intruders before they fled back to their vehicle. There were no injuries.
