A new development at Erie Beach was officially launched Tuesday.

With the cut of a ribbon, Starward Homes and First Amherst Development Group officially launched Harbourtown at Erie Beach, a development of 39 new homes overlooking Lake Erie.

A certificate of recognition by EnerQuality Corporation was presented to Starward to acknowledge the first builder in the Fort Erie area to offer homes which meet the Energy Star specifications for new homes.

The Harbourtown at Erie Beach development, which can be accessed off Bardol Avenue, features nine lakefront lots for custom designed homes and about 30 additional lots for single and semi-detached homes.

House prices in the development will begin in the mid-$260,000 range and will vary depending on lot location, design of home chosen and the extent of upgrades added.
