Following are a list of crimes of interest reported to District 8 of the Niagara Regional Police Service. Between May 6 and May 8

LOCATION: Winston Road, Grimsby

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Mischief under $5,000

PROPERTY OBTAINED: N/A

SYNOPSIS: Sometime between May 6 and May 8 unknown person(s) accessed the commercial property and cut several coils of copper wire. It is unknown at this time if the cutting of the wire was for the future theft of the wire or if it was just to damage the property.

Tuesday, May 6 during overnight hours

LOCATION: Windward Drive, Grimsby

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Mischief under $5,000

PROPERTY OBTAINED: N/A

SYNOPSIS: On May 6, during the overnight hours unknown person(s) smashed a front drivers' side window in a parked motor vehicle. No property was taken from the vehicle.

Tuesday, May 6 during overnight hours

LOCATION: Windward Drive, Grimsby

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Mischief under $5,000

PROPERTY OBTAINED: N/A

SYNOPSIS: On May 6, during the overnight hours unknown person(s) smashed a front drivers' side window out of a parked motor vehicle. No property was taken from the vehicle. This is the second incident regarding damaged windows to motor vehicles parked at this area hotel.

Thursday, May 8 at 10 p.m.

LOCATION: Menno Street, Lincoln

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Suspicious Person

PROPERTY OBTAINED: N/A

SYNOPSIS: On May 8, at approximately 10 p.m. a resident of the area answered a knock on the door and was met by a young male aged 16-19 years. The male requested to use the telephone and then attempted to walk into the home. The resident slammed the door in the male's face and called police. The suspect is described as a white male, 16-19 years of age wearing a baseball cap, long sleeve T-shirt and jeans.

Thursday, May 8 during the overnight hours

LOCATION: Lake Street, Grimsby

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Theft Under $5,000

PROPERTY OBTAINED: 45 HP Johnson Outboard Motor, Gas tank and fuel line

SYNOPSIS: On May 8, during the overnight hours an unknown person(s) attended the commercial property and removed the motor from the stern of the boat. Also taken was the gas tank and fuel line for the motor.

Saturday, May 10 during overnight hours

LOCATION: Dufferin Street, West Lincoln

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Theft Under $5,000

PROPERTY OBTAINED: Car audio equipment SYNOPSIS: On May 10, during the overnight hours an unknown person(s) entered a parked motor vehicle, which was parked in a private driveway. Once inside the culprit(s) removed a quantity of car audio equipment.

LOCATION: Frost Road, Lincoln

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Theft Under $5,000

PROPERTY OBTAINED: Road signs

SYNOPSIS: Between May 5-10, unknown person(s) removed a road sign indicating to local traffic that "horses" and "horse and rider" may be present on roadway.

Monday, May 12 during the overnight hours

LOCATION: Edward Ct, West Lincoln

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Theft Under $5,000

PROPERTY OBTAINED: Car audio equipment

SYNOPSIS: On May 12, during the overnight hours an unknown person(s) entered a parked motor vehicle, which was parked in a private driveway. Once inside the culprit(s) removed a quantity of car audio equipment.

Sunday, May 11 between 4:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.

LOCATION: Sixteen Road, West Lincoln

TYPE OF OFFENCE: Break and Enter

PROPERTY OBTAINED: 30-inch television

SYNOPSIS: On May 11, sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. an unknown person(s) gained entry to a residence by forcing a door open. Once inside the culprit(s) removed a 30-inch colour TV.
